The Whitinsville Water Company will be installing approximately 2,000 feet on water pipe on portions of East Street, Willow Street, Johnston Ave, Brook Street, and Briggs Street. These new, larger water mains will help to improve flows and water quality in these areas. The work is being completed by Polito Construction and will be starting Monday July 2, 2018. The project is scheduled to be complete by the end of August. Final paving of the trench areas will be done later in the fall or the spring of 2019 as required by the Town. During the project, we will need to temporarily shut down the water as we connect the new pipes that are installed. We will do our best to minimize any water shut downs and will notify customers of all planned water outages. However, there may need to be unplanned shut downs at times and we will do our best to notify customers when this happens. This project is part of the companies overall commitment of continued investment in its infrastructure in order to continue to provide the highest level of service to its customers.
